LAB3: INSTALL NT SERVER
[BDC]
Ensure that the PDC previously installed in LAB1 is running. You
will be performing a network install. Please consider defining
the following information before continuing.

Most of the computers have been set up already, and are configured as follows

Beware: You are going to install Windows NT Server onto a computer which has operating systems already installed. The disk is already partitioned. Be very careful you follow the instructions, and if unsure, ASK.
YOU WILL INSTALL WINDOWS NT SERVER ONTO THE EXISTING NTFS PARTITION [DRIVE D:]
Step 1: Install the Backup Domain Controller
Proceed in the same manner as for installing the PDC.
During the step Gathering Information About Your Computer
Enter the type of server you are installing as a BDC [Backup
Domain Controller]
During the step Networking
Enter the name of the Domain, the administrator name as "administrator",
and leave the password field blank
STEP 2: RESTART THE BDC AFTER THE INSTALLATION IS COMPLETE
STEP 3: MODIFY THE BOOT.INI FILE
Change the NT Server Version 4.00 line to reflect the role of
this computer in a similar way which you did earlier for the PDC.
The entry should refer to this computer as a BDC.
